Endometriosis is much like surfing
The ocean cannot be controlled. Waves build, shift, and crash on their own terms, and trying to force the water to be still only leaves you exhausted. For many years, my surfer picture served as a quiet reminder of my own journey. Living with endo often feels just like that, living with unpredictable wipeouts, hard falls, lost breath, and feeling swept away by currents you never asked for.
For decades, endo was my constant, life-long shadow, a heavy presence trailing every step I took. But over time, as I stopped fighting the ocean, that shadow shifted into a companion. A deep signal forcing me to listen, to adapt, and respect my body's tides.
While you can never master the ocean, you can master how you ride it.
Real change doesn't happen by fighting the water. It happens through daily habits, patience, and unwavering consistency. Through every surge of pain and setback, I built the tools and resilience to find my balance, learning to read the tides instead of being pulled under.
Today, my mission with EndoEase is to help you build those steady, daily practices so you can find your footing, navigate the rough waters, and stand up in your own strength. No matter what wave comes next.
“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn how to surf them.”
